1. Does ewePro do (X)?
ewePro is a new project that is evolving and is always being expanded. We track breedings, performance, progeny, integrate with 3rd-party systems, and much more. While we might not do exactly what you need, if you need something weird, we can likely code it for you and put it on our roadmap. Reach out.
2. Do I need a EID reader/hardware?
No. While ewePro is designed to work with most readers, it is not required that you buy hardware to use ewePro. Not sure if your reader is supported or what works best? We can likely help you out. Contact us.
3. What if my internet is bad?
We live in rural Canada, we know fast internet can be a challenge. Our dashboard is designed to be lightweight and our scanner apps can cache your data offline for automatic syncing later.
4. What do I need to use ewePro?
ewePro has two parts, the web site and scanner apps. For the best experience a computer (Windows/Mac/Linux) is ideal for the dashboard and an Apple/Android device is needed to run the scanner apps. But ewePro can be used exclusively from your phone if that's all you have.
5. What if I'm not from Canada?
Nobody's perfect. 😉 ewePro is designed for Canadian sheep farmers but can be used anywhere as long as you don't mind some canuck-style spellings and hockey references. We may expand to other areas in the future, but for right now Canada is our focus and that is on purpose.
6. Why is this suspiciously cheap?
We want everyone to use ewePro. Because of that ewePro has a focus on affordability because most Canadian sheep farms are small and track things using basic methods. It's designed to be a low cost, long term, professional solution. Try it free for a year, then use it feature complete for as little as 5 bucks a month after that (that's enough for us to pay the server bills). ewePro is here to stay, and is a long term project by your friends at Olio Digital Labs, delivering software for over a decade.
7. Can I cancel at anytime? What about my data?
You can cancel at anytime and export your data.
8. Is there a french version?
Not yet. But we are working on this. Stay tuned!
